Pedagogical courses
CEE is responsible for the qualifying education in Compulsory Higher Education Teacher Training (CHETT) at the Faculty of Engineering, LTH.
The courses follow the nationally decided learning objectives around CHETT that the Swedish Association of Universities and University Colleges (SUHF) has adopted.
CEE also runs faculty-wide PhD courses.

CEE’s range of courses
The range of higher education pedagogical courses can be divided into three levels:
- The basic level which is mainly aimed at doctoral students includes the courses Introduction to Teaching and Learning in Higher Education and Communicating Research. On this level you also find a special course for adjunct professores called Introduction to Teaching and Learning in Higher Education for Adjunct Teachers.
- At the intermediate level, you find several courses for teachers with some more experience. The two courses Developing and Leading Courses at LTH and the Readership (Docent) Course are focused on course responsibility in undergraduate education and research supervision. The other courses deepen the competence in specific parts of the teaching role. At the request of LTH's departments, programs and others CEE also offers a Collegial Project Course for teaching teams.
- At the in depth level, there are two courses for teachers who want to develop and merit further. Teaching Portfolio Workshop and SoTL Project Course for an in-depth project within Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
Fees
All CEE courses are free of charge for LTH employees. It is also possible to take part in other courses, both within and outside Lund University, but then normally the course participant's department bears the course cost. The exception is if someone wants to follow a course whose equivalent is not in CEE's course offering, then there is the possibility CEE can take the course cost instead.

Language
In CEE's courses given in Swedish, you may always speak and write in English, but must understand Swedish sufficiently to read and listen.
